Depth Psychotherapy in Vancouver

You've done everything right — so why does it still feel like something's missing?

I'm Brandon, a Canadian Certified Counsellor in Vancouver. I work with thoughtful people who understand themselves well but still feel stuck — helping you move from insight into lasting, felt change through grounded, depth-oriented therapy.

No pressure, no commitment — just a conversation to see if we're a good fit.

If any of this sounds familiar

You've read the books. You can name your patterns. And still — something hasn't shifted.

Maybe life looks good on paper but doesn't quite feel like your own. Maybe you're tired of carrying it all alone, or worn down from working so hard to hold everything together. You've done the self-help, the podcasts, the productivity systems — and the deeper restlessness is still there.

That gap, between understanding yourself and actually feeling different, is where this work begins. Anxiety, low mood, burnout, old wounds — these are usually doors to something underneath. Together we go in, make sense of it, and turn insight into change you can feel in your life.

Meet your therapist

Hi, I'm Brandon Bate

I'm a Canadian Certified Counsellor in Vancouver, and I practice depth-oriented, relational therapy. That means I'm less interested in handing you another coping technique and more interested in what's underneath — the patterns, the history, and the parts of you that haven't had much room to be heard.

People tell me they feel genuinely understood here, without being coddled. My aim is for therapy to become a steady place where you can slow down, get honest, and move toward a life that actually feels like yours.
